Update for February 7th, 2013

The script is basically ready to open a voice audition thread, I’ll have a friend help me have that set up by the weekend, hopefully!

Also, a bit of Trivia; Mr. Douglas is Greasy and Kathy Lou’s boss, who originally isn’t seen in the pilot, we just hear him yelling from offscreen. Since he’s one of the only characters who’d need a voice who we didn’t actually see, I left the image for his file stuff as a question mark. I then remembered there is a species in Purg that resemble letters, numbers, and marks ((relatives of the abstractives)) and decided why the hell not make him one of those. He floats :3

More background characters!

Sometimes I try to avoid posting too many, but as long as they’re not spoilers or anything, I guess it’s okay. Not too many people follow this blog yet, and all! Plus I just had to share the fact there’s literally a character who is a man whose body got cobbled together with opossum carcasses in some ‘accident’, who is a background character technically but like almost every other minor design I make has a full bio and personality we don’t get to see. At least not yet, anyway!

Not directly related to the pilot or it’s progress, but these are canon characters who’d be around if the show gets off the ground! c:

Plot Rough Sketches

I’m not sure what to call these, since they’re not even close to being storyboards and not indicative of exactly how things will go, and it’s just a few bits n pieces, really, so, I guess Plot Rough Sketches works? I’ll go with that, so that I can tag similar posts that way. I just wanted to show Janitor being too big for the chair and it’s like, all scrunching down under him. Also babby Timothy.

But yeah that thing with The Janitor killing the shit out of that bloker? That’s basically the very first scene we see 8B

UC and UC are actually my friend and his character who said he’d love to cameo and promised not to sue me for using his likeness! The other characters are mine but vary in importance. YOU FOOL Guy is probably the only one who gets lines I think. You can probably take a wild guess what his dialogue is/what it’s like.

Pilot Materials - A Few Creatures of Metacore

Since these are non-spoiler-y, I just thought I’d share some designs of creatures that are planned to appear in the pilot, either as a focus or just background critters. All of these are basically the standard appearance/variable from which all of that species are based, with the exception of Petrichor, who is Professor Roirom’s pet.
